Firstly, this is a nice apartment with a spacious living area and neutral but adequate furnishings. The location is also good. But, and its a big but, we were woken from 2am to 5am three nights in a row by loud, bassy, club music form the apartment below. Not to mention the constant smell of marijuana from the apartment below also! It made the whole four day stay really unpleasant. I understand that healing homes does not manage all the apartments in the building, but nevertheless, the impact was most unpleasant. Lastly, if you are bringing dogs with you, they will allow it, but charge you $200 per dog for 'deep cleaning'. If I had known, I would not have stayed here. Our two dogs did not enjoy the music or the smell either. They also have a non refundable agreement, and are not clear about the charges until it's too late.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
