Despite what other reviews mention, they do not allow luggage storage. We had a college tour booked and had to spend a bunch of extra time to find a location to store our luggage and then retrieve it. The apartment is at a great location but needs attention- there are multiple unsightly paint splotches on the walls. Be warned that the amenities are bare bones - no coffee / tea and hotel style soap / shampoo / conditioner in the bathrooms. We needed to use the washer and received multiple confusing instructions, including a suggestion to look behind the washer (which would involve dragging it out). It took most of the morning going back and forth with messages to feel comfortable using the washer - an annoyance on a trip on which we had a lot to do. The worst issue was the overpowering smell gas in the apartment the first night we landed. Most of the windows cannot be opened. As a result, we couldn’t sleep at all the first night. All in all, a subpar experience. Not worth the money!
So it was clean … the bathroom was clean , there was no smell, they had dishes and everything you’d need to cook a meal if wanted but I feel like they should add what the apartment building itself looks like in pictures. They had 20 trash bags right in the front of the door entering the apartment. Then the actual apartment they was renting out had half way patched holes in the walls , the closet door in one of the rooms is broken and they didn’t even think to sweep up the dust or anything if they wasn’t going to fix it . It is what it looks like in pictures as far as furniture etc but there are details that they definitely didn’t show that are extremely visible.
needs lots of maintenance
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
