Healing Home listing, not very “healing” when you’re freezing :( Stayed here in the beginning of October with temperatures in the 40s-60s and unfortunately heating did not work at all:/ AC unit was still present and functional, but only blew cold air. Host was very responsive to concerns, but would have had to have maintenance person enter unit during stay to fix. Overhead light in bedroom was also out, so only lighting in bedroom was small nightstand lamps. Hosts also only provided one hand towel and one washcloth for two guests, but two bath towels. Found an extra bath towel in closet to use. Very bare bones. Small mirror in bathroom and one above non-functioning fireplace in bedroom, so ladies, dont plan on checking your fit. Host let us check out “late” (noon) without an extra fee, which we appreciated. We booked to minimize expenses in such an expensive city but you get what you pay for, or a little worse.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
