Very noisy and unsafe location. On Saturday night, there was screaming all night long. After calling 911 when a woman was screaming in terror, we didn't see the police respond. Hollering by males all night and into the wee hours of the morning. Vagrants blocked doorway as we exited in the morning, and it seemed they were trying to break in through the outer door lock. It was noisy, terrifying, and left me sleepless. We found out later the area is known for drug infestation and prostitution. We saw used condom wrappers on the ground when we left. Additionally, the unit next us had a chain smoker for hours during the night. Strong smoke infiltrated our unit enough to make our belongings stink. Avoid this location!

The Healing Homes team was excellent and responsive, but unfortunately we experienced issues with the accommodations. On the second night of our stay the bathroom flooded, water pouring in from the ceiling and making it unusable. They host was gracious enough to move us to another room, but in the second room their were dirty dishes in the cabinets. Overall the experience was poor, though I'm giving two stars become the host's communication was excellent and the check-in process was seamless.
I was very hopeful that this studio would be a perfect fit for me, however I was very wrong. I arrived on the opening night of my Broadway show at the Emerson. I spent the entirety of the day trying to make things work in this studio. The WiFi was not working, I couldn’t turn on any of the lamps and soon came to realize that several of the outlets were not working. After moving the bed around to find a working outlet, in vain, I went to take a shower. In the middle of washing my hair, the shower head flew off the shower faucet, spewing water all over the bathroom. It took 3 days before any of the issues were resolved. I had to use my own tools to fix the plugs on the table lamps. After asking the host to not have anyone come before 11am, because I work at night, and electrician came knocking on my door at 10am. It took him a hour to fix the electrical issue and he mentioned several other apartments that were havi g issues with appliances not working and the like.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
