The location was great and very close to the metro, but the home was not what we were expecting for the price. Obviously Boston is an old city, but the unit needs some maintenance. There were quite a few minor things that were disappointing for how much money it cost: no liner in the shower so the floor was soaked (the floor mat was wet for the duration of our stay due to the absence of a liner), towels appeared to be stained, multiple bugs in the unit, trash can was inoperable, etc. We are not ones to complain, but wanted to leave an honest review of our experience.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
