It is unfortunate that I wrote this review as I have never written a bad review of an Airbnb. First, I want to share that Brian provided excellent communication. Unfortunately as soon as we walked to the basement there was an overwhelming odor that persisted in the apartment. Musty and moldy. My daughter became ill from the environment so we had only stayed a few hours then had to find a hotel. Airbnb resolved the issue. However, I highly recommended to Brian to not rent this out until the vents, ducts are professionally cleaned and a few dehumidifiers are placed. As of the few hours we stayed it is not safe for anyone with airway issues or mold allergies. FYI. I am a physician. I hope they take my advice above, as the company advertises to provide a place for those with medical needs. It is otherwise a great apartment and from what I can see on the reviews others had the same experience during the summer months. I wish Brian and his team the best.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
