*Not for people at risk for COVID. Brian and heather bribed me with a voucher to give them a 5 star review. This place did not clean before we arrived, they barged in during a professional project, and just let us sleep in dirty sheets. I’ve still never spoke to a manager or had any closure. The space was different than the photos, which is why we stayed there. They are true SCAM ARTISTS.
The location near Boston Common is great, but we did not have a great experience at Brian + Heather's AirBnB. Having paid careful attention to this location's noise ordinance policies, and understanding that Healing Homes of Boston has use of the entire building, we had anticipated a restful stay in Boston. Unfortunately, on the first night of our stay, we were kept awake by a very loud party in the adjacent room until 2:00 AM -- at which point, local police arrived to disrupt the event. The party itself, of course, wasn't Brian + Heather's fault. But we had hoped their response would have been more helpful. In hopes that they could "better manage the situation in the future," Brian + Heather offered to "send a note over tomorrow and slip it under the door to explain the situation to the guests. Maybe they're understanding enough to pipe down past 10pm. Worth a shot." They informed us that they'd speak to the building manager in three days, and provide a credit to our next stay at their AirBnB in compensation for our bad experience. Between that, unexpected interruptions from Brian + Heather's maintenance staff, and not receiving any help when we couldn't control the thermostat for the unit -- this all amounted to a less-than-favorable stay. I'd recommend searching elsewhere for your stay in Boston.

the location is good and in central everything but many homeless people downstairs, noise and hard to get there cause it’s close area. First two days, we couldn’t sleep because the neighbor above us is walking and you can hear everything like the walking inside your head. The floor is noisy, which is old building more than 50 years. What do you expect? The host was communicated but after we call him him that our neighbor is just jumping around and we couldn’t even sleep. He bring us noise, machine and earplugs. Nos dejaron sin agua caliente sin avisar. El primer día les escribí para comunicarles que había un ruido muy fuerte de alguna máquina que venía del baño y vinieron a “arreglarlo”. A partir de ahí estuvimos 3 días sin agua caliente en pleno invierno, porque no les dio la gana de venir a arreglarlo, ya que ellos sabían que no estaba roto, si no que habían desconectado el termo de agua caliente porque hacía ruido. Al tercer día, abrimos el cuadro de luces y descubrimos que habían apagado el termo. A parte de eso, nos acusaron de ruidos ya que se escucha TODO ruido de los demás apartamentos. Lo que ellos no te cuentan son los ruidos de los termos de agua caliente. Es una pena que el trato haya sido así, el apartamento está muy bien, pero los ruidos son insoportables. Es la primera vez que tengo una experiencia tan mala en un Airbnb…
We chose the place based on location and pictures. Location was great. 1. Pictures and description did not clarify that ALL windows looked out into an interior light shaft. 2. There was very minimal and uncomfortable furniture in living room 3. Absolute minimum cups, glasses. We were 4 adults and had to run dishwasher everyday after having coffee. 4. Hardly any cooking utensils. Couldn’t even fry an egg because there was no spatula and non stick pan was not non stick! 5. Missing basics like coffee, salt, pepper. We bought and left some for next guest. 6. Practically no sound insulation. We could hear people in the hallway, next door and upstairs apartment. Unacceptable noise levels. In the end biggest issue was the windows. Would be good if you could have that noted on the listing in future.
Luckily life’s experiences are different for everyone. It was a lovely property .
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
