  • If your going to be out and about checking out the city all day then get this place 100%

The good parts: - Location is right next to the T (subway) for easy travel access. - Hosts respond quickly. The bad parts: - Cleanliness: Upon arrival, I found rat poop on the living room carpet. I also noticed hair belonging to multiple people on the bathroom floor. The hosts responded right away to clean it the next morning, but I declined because I don’t trust people coming in and out with my belongings in the apartment. - Lights/ Electrical problems: At one point, the hallway lights shut off. I notified the hosts. I tried their trouble shooting methods, but it didn’t work. A couple hours later, one of the bedroom lights shut off. Having felt like I didn’t have a choice, I agreed to let someone come and fix the issue. When I got back into the apartment, the lights worked. Until it didn’t! At this point I’m starting to lose my patience. I messaged the hosts again, but it was our last night and there was not much the hosts was able to do. I was stuck with using my cell phone as a flash light. - Location: I didn’t feel safe walking around at night. There was a shooting on the next street over during our stay. But then again, any major city has its problems. - The bed: One of the bedroom had a roll out mattress. And yes, it was uncomfortable. - Hosts: It seems to me that the hosts are a management company that operates multiple units in the same building. I always try to be nice and polite when asking for things, but some of their answers were a little off. For example, when I asked the hosts for a gym, their response was, “use maps to locate a gym.” Or course I know how to use maps and google to locate gym near me. I was asking to know their personal opinion on where to go. Furthermore, you can only apologize so many times when a guest has multiple problems. The generic response was, “We’re sorry for the inconvenience, we will let our management team know.” Instead of letting management know, how about asking the guest in what can be done to satisfy their stay? Other notable(s): - The walls are thin, but we didn’t have any noise issues. - The unit is right next to an elevator and you can hear people in the hallways. Overall: If I come back to the Boston area, I would choose another spot.

  • The place and hosts are nice but the upstairs neighbors were extremely loud and kept us up until 5am. The checkin time is late at 5pm and the checkout time is early at 10am. Not ideal when visiting for a short time frame.
