If you like all the rules and stuffiness of a hotel, but without any of the niceties or amenities, this is your place! I typically stay in an Airbnb because I prefer a homey, welcoming sort of environment run by an individual who is equally concerned about turning a profit as they are about ensuring their guest has a good visit. This property felt like it was run by a business, someone(s) who clearly has bought a handful of apartments and filled them with the cheapest possible furnishings that emulate a motel level of quality. Sure, the location is great and if you need to spend a night downtown and don't plan on spending much time in the room, then stay here. But if you're a frequenter of Airbnbs and are used to expecting more than the bare minimum, don't stay here.
Location is convenient but I didn’t feel very safe. The building is old and not very clean. The apartment is clean (except the sofa) but not well-maintained. We had 2 issues during our 3-day stay. First night the smoke alarm started beeping at 3AM. The fridge is next to your bed and every time the compressor goes on it makes a constant clicking noise for 10-15 min. In my opinion it is not worth the price. The host was responsive and communication was very quick.
Smelled really bad when we walked in. Very small apartment. Did not feel very safe walking around the area. Lot's of homeless people in the area. No elevator. Would not recommend.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
