Inside no complaints except that I got bites all over my torso from what can only be explained as bed bugs-
When we arrived in Boston, Albert’s team was very flexible to accommodate us an hour earlier. Upon arrival, the space reeks of old urine at the entrance, outside and inside. Many homeless individuals have made themselves home in the front entrance of the building. The last straw for us was when we came back for our first night, after grabbing dinner, and we had to wait for a group of homeless men to finish a heroin/drug deal. We felt unsafe for most of our stay after that. Understanding that the host could do only so much, I contacted AirBNB. They informed me the host would not honor a refund so we could find safer accommodations. Neither the host nor the AirBNB team helped us get out of this situation. We will not be using this app again as a result. Safety is not a priority for this host or this app, and I have a paper trail to show for it in screenshots and unanswered requests.
Excellent location but run down interior with multiple missing/broken fixtures and window blinds. Terrifically dirty windows. Had problems with both toilets and host was very responsive but issues persisted. Chose the unit for its two bathrooms but one was usually out of commission with my poor husband working to fix it. Clean but very loud at night with window a/c units but thankfully comfortable linens and beds. Large living space. Could be great with some basic investment to upgrade bathrooms and fixtures.
